2 new players for Brussels Basketball (VIDEOS)

Brussels basketball announced the arrival of 2 new players during a press conference at the Kinepolis.

The first one is Ryan Richards, a British/Jamaican center (29 years old, 2M13). Richards was considered as a big talent. He was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs with the 49th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft but never played in the NBA. He played for the Spurs in Summer League. “He has a lot of experience, talent, he’s hungry and commited”, explains Ian Hanavan, Brussels’s coach.

The second one is Thomas Massamba, a 35 years old Swedish/Congolese point guard. Massamba is an experienced player, playing professionnal basketball since 2005. He played in Nymburk with coach Hanavan.  “He’s a leader with a lot of experience.”, says Hanavan.. “He’s a winner. He has won in  Bulgaria, Sweden, Cyprus and Czech Republic.”

The roster is now full for Brussels Basketball with Niels Foerts,William Robeyns, Stéphane Moris, Louis Hazard, Pavle Djurisic, BJ Raymond, Darius Washington, Ayoub Nouhi, Ryan Richards, Thomas Massamba and the 2 youngsters in double affiliation : Sean Pouedet and Elijah Tshibangu.
