First win of the preseason for Antwerp against Bonn (70-77)

First game of the preseason abroad for the Antwerp Giants this Sunday against Telekom Baskets Bonn.

The first quarter was in favor of the German team (20-13 after 10′), but Christophe Beghin’s team reacted well to cut the deficit to 3 at halftime (35-32 after 20′).

After a close 3rd quarter, the Giants were still behind by 3 with 10 minutes to go (52-49 after 30′).

But in the 4th quarter it was Speedy Smith time. The new signing of the Giants scored 15 (!) points in the last quarter (4/4 from 3’s) to lead his team to victory (70-77).

For the Giants, Ibrahima Fall Faye scored 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, the captain Dudzinski scored 13 points but the best scorer was Smith with 19 points.
