Former Oostende center signs with Spanish champion (VIDEOS)

Tonye Jekiri played the 2017-2018 season in Belgium with Oostende. With the BCO he won the Belgian Cup and the Championship, he was also named Finals MVP this Year.

After 1 year in Turkey, the former Miami Hurricanes player (where he played with Manu Lecomte) signed a deal with ASVEL last season. He shared the Center position with another Belgian Lion, Ismael Bako. Jekiri was very interesting for his first year in Euroleague, he averaged 8.7 points and 7.5 rebounds for the French Team.

Jekiri now decided to sign a 2-year contract with another Euroleague team: Baskonia, the Spanish champion.
