Justin Kohajda leaves Liège Basket to sign in Spain. The center will sign a contract with Valladolid, in LEB Oro. This is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB.
Kohajda played in EMBL with Oostende, Aalst and Limburg. But last season, he had his best season as a professional player with Liège. Kohajda will now discover the LEB Oro for his first season abroad. He averaged 8.2 points and 7 rebounds last season.
“He is a great player, with power in the paint and experience. He arrives with good numbers in the Belgian first division and will give us presence in the paint, toughness in the low post and rebounding ability”, says Hugo López, Valladolid’s coach.
Earlier this month, Lège Basket announced that the team will not play in 2020.
